Participants Notes

Rules and Precautions

1. There are no conference supply stations along the route. Participants are advised to bring no less than 1500ml of drinks and appropriate food supplements, or arrange support. This activity allows others to provide support along the way. Please bring an ID card, a small amount of cash ($200), an Octopus and a mobile phone with local communication.

2. It is recommended that everyone wear trail running shoes and hiking poles to participate. Please note that the mountains are steep, and be sure to pay attention to safety.

3. When entering the village, please keep as quiet as possible and wear a mask when entering and leaving the village to avoid making noise or affecting local residents.

 

4. All participants need to upload a photo of the landmark card to the designated website for record purpose.

 

5. Participants are advised to understand the route information and download the GPX file to their mobile phone or watch before proceeding along the route of the conference. for navigation purposes. The completed mileage shall not be less than the mileage specified in the conference route. If it is found that it is not completed according to the route specified by the conference, the conference reserves the right not to give any awards. Be applicable.

 

6. Participants must follow the instructed route to complete the activity at one time, and must complete and upload the information within the activity date. There is no limit to the number of participants, but the record can only be uploaded once. The organizer understands that the routes and distances recorded by different watches and mobile phones are different, and will have a certain degree of flexibility in verifying the results.

 

7. Do not do this activity in bad weather, and do not pay attention to the observatory report.

Recommended equipment

During the event, participants are advised to bring the following equipment

12. Wind/Waterproof Jacket

Important Notes​

Safety

The route contains some rough and steep sections. Please be extra careful at all times and consider your own safety and that of other hikers. You should make sure you bring enough food and drink to reach your designated destination, especially drinking plenty of water. Adequate hydration is essential for personal safety. We strongly recommend that you bring a water filter to get water in an emergency.

Telephone signal coverage

Most of the tracks are covered by mobile phone networks, but there are also some areas where there is no network coverage or intermittent signal reception.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, participants must pay attention to personal hygiene protection when participating in the challenge. Participants should note that the 4-person gathering restriction order is still in effect. Please note that social distancing is maintained, and masks are exempted from exercising and in country parks. Please Masks are still required when not in country parks and when not exercising. For details, please refer to the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.

 

Participants can purchase accidental casualty, property protection and other insurance as needed, and the organizer will not make any accident compensation.

The organizer reserves the right to make the final decision on this event. The results, rankings and awards of any related event will be announced by the organizer.

All personal information is only used for the registration of this event and is strictly confidential. Only authorized persons can access and process the personal information of users. Participants also agree to receive "Ultra Fish N Sheep" events, promotions and other communications by email.

Tips for doing outdoor exercise

Always consider other trail and road users

Be extra careful when crossing the road or running on the road

In the event of injury or distress to other trail users, please assist within your means

Make sure to bring enough food and drinks, and adequate warm and waterproof clothing. It is strongly recommended to bring a water filter to use in an emergency

Please remember "no trace in the mountains", do not litter, take shortcuts, destroy animals and plants, or use means of transportation to complete the route

Liability and Insurance

Each participant must take full responsibility for their own health and safety, as well as the GPS/tracking system.

 

We strongly recommend that you and your support team members purchase your own personal accident insurance.

 

ULTRA Fish N Sheep is not an official competition or timed quiz, but a personal activity. Therefore, all participants are solely responsible for their actions and participation. Each participant must also acknowledge that he is responsible for himself and his escort or support team members.

 

Physical activity requires good training and all participants confirm that they are fit and fit to participate in ULTRA Fish N Sheep. By completing registration, you expressly and agree that you are solely responsible for your activities.

 

You expressly agree to release the ULTRA Fish N Sheep organizer from any and all liability related to your sporting activities, and you also agree that under no circumstances shall the organization hold you or any third party responsible for any liability to you or any third party arising out of or in connection with ULTRA Fish N Sheep responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

Complaint

Any complaints must be made in writing within 2 days of completing the journey. Any decision is final and will not be subject to appeal.

 

Force Majeure​

Force Majeure, the occurrence of events beyond the control of the organizer and making it impossible, unsafe or impractical to hold the competition. Events of force majeure include, but are not limited to, acts of God, war, hostilities, aggression, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, riot, demonstration, riot, government, military or police action or direction, strike, sabotage, lockout, blockage or disturbance, blockage or Roads or trails, outbreaks of disease, acts and threats of terrorism are not allowed.
